I know I been ghost again! oh well...I got stuff goin on. The point of this post is...
I meet my future mother-in-law today!!!
I'm sooo nervous! I spoke to her on the phone a handful of times...and I tell my bf to tell her I say "hi" whenever he speaks to her on the phone. She seems to like me so far, but who knows. I'm nervous cuz soo many women have issues with their mother-in-law (including my mom and grandma. lol) I dont want that to be me. I want us to get along great...although he IS her only child :-/

just be polite, don't try to put on a front, and strike up conversation that will allow both of you to get to know each other.

ReplyDeleteYea meeting the mother is hard because you dont know what to expect, plus you want her to like you and respect you. I have met a handful of mothers and its hard. I have to say my current bf mother is pretty cool. She is a funnay as all hell, but cool. I say be yourself, respectable and go with the flow. Good luck. i wish i could tell you i remember what it was like to meet ari's parents, but sadly, that was like ages ago!
